nel 2004, nasce il progetto Il Cielo di Bagdad
Nel 2005, attraverso un'intensa attività live, il gruppo perfeziona il
proprio stile, combinando i suoni in emozioni sinfoniche, sviluppando
melodie reiterate che suggeriscono all'ascoltatore parole trattenute.
Nel 2006 pubblica il primo lavoro discografico completamente
autoprodotto,líEP "Manca solo la neve", contenente 7 tracce.
L'EP, molto apprezzato dagli addetti ai lavori, vende in tutta Europa
un numero di copie superiore ad ogni pi˘ rosea aspettativa.
Nel 2007 Il Cielo di Bagdad raggiunge le finali dei concorsi Arezzo
Wave e Six days Sonic Madness.
Nel corso dell'anno si esibisce in concerti ad alto impatto emozionale,
suonando con alcuni tra i maggiori gruppi indie italiani.
Ad ottobre 2008 esce il nuovo Full-lenght Export for Malinconique,
che sottolinea un'evoluzione delle sonorità verso maggiori progressioni
ritmiche ed aperture più solari, combinate ad atmosfere malinconiche
ed estatiche.
Il gruppo è molto attivo Su myspace, dove vanta oltre 50.000 contatti
ed oltre 50000 plays ed è stato più volte messo in primo piano
sulla homepage di myspace italia.

In 2004, under the sun of Campania - Italy, the project ‘Il Cielo di
Bagdad’ was born.
In 2005, after some intense live performances, the band has
polished up its style, combining the sounds together as to create
symphonic emotions and developing iterative melodies that suggest
the listener unspoken words.
In 2006 the band has published its first wholly-self-produced album,
the EP ‘Manca solo la neve’, listing 7 tracks. This release, which has
been pretty appreciated by the insiders, has sold throughout Europe
an amount of copies that has outnumbered any expectations.
In 2007 Il Cielo di Bagdad gained the final stage in the Arezzo Wave
and Six Days Sonic Madness competitions. During the year the band
performs live in highly emotional concerts, playing in collaboration
with the main Italian indie bands.
In October 2008 the new full-length Export for Malinconique is going
to be released, an album that underlines a sound evolution towards
greater rhythmic progressions and lighter openings, combined with
melancholic and ecstatic atmospheres.
The band is active on Myspace and can boast more than 50,000
contacts and 50,000 plays and many times it has gained the
foreground on the homepage of Myspace Italia.
